China 101: Student Pipeline
Overview
The field of Chinese Studies has a diversity problem. Despite the wealth of Black professionals and academics all over the world studying and commenting on the Chinese diaspora, the field lacks a consistent pipeline for young Black people to engage in professional development and learning related to the field. China 101 aims to fill this gap, establishing a network that connects Black students interested in Chinese Studies with one another and with professionals who want to further their professional advancement in their relevant fields.
